Hulknurga sees tippude juures asetsevaid nurki nimetatakse hulknurga sisenurkadeks.

Teame, et kolmnurga sisenurkade summa on 180°.

Teame, et nelinurga sisenurkade summa on 360°.

 

Mis tahes n-nurga sisenurkade summa on

s=(n-2) 180°, kus

n - nurkade arv

 

Seega
kolmnurga sisenurkade summa on s=(3 - 2) 180°= 180°

nelinurga sisenurkade summa on s=(4 - 2) 180° = 360°

viisnurga sisenurkade summa on s=(5 - 2) 180° = 540°

 

Kui korrapärase hulknurga üks nurk on 

60° siis on tegemist kolmnurgaga, kuna 3 60° = 180° (kontroll s=(3 - 2) 180°= 180°)

90° siis on tegemist nelinurgaga, kuna 4 90° = 360° (kontroll s=(4 - 2) 180° = 360°)

108° siis on tegemist viisnurgaga, kuna 5 108° = 540° (kontroll s=(5 - 2) 180° = 540°)

120° siis on tegemist viisnurgaga, kuna 6 120° = 720° (kontrols=(6 - 2) 180° = 720°)

135° siis on tegemist viisnurgaga, kuna 8 135° = 540° (kontrols=(8 - 2) 180° = 1080°)
